Cheese can't win for losing. Snakebit.

AAAAAAnd......Cheese strikes again! What a complete fraud.

Questionable decision to send the runner, but I guess with 2 outs you have to balance out the percentages of making it home with the percentages of the next batter getting a hit.
-
Probably the right play to send him. Perfect throw from Cyr! Dang it!

Snakebit? No, just bad at his job. That was a toss from short left field.

I call some of my friends cheesetarded. I feel vindicated.

There was no doubt that throw was going to be ahead of highfill, before he rounded third.

Just another example where our best players failed us. Sigh.****

I don't know, the LF and C both played it perfectly, and still Highfill was an inch or two away from scoring. If you think you have a better than 40% chance of scoring, it's probably better to send him there with 2 outs and down 1 run.
But yeah, I cringed when I saw we were sending him because I figured he was going to be out.

You guys need to stop trashing the hitters that have been in this program multiple years. It's obvious our coaches aren't improving them, and that's the issue. Look at all our veteran players vs all our portal guys - you can look back the last three years on this. Stevens, Hines, Chance, Highfill, Powell, and Downs all look exactly the same as they did a year ago. Almost no improvement across the board. This is also the reason high level transfers ain't coming here.

But they're our best players!! The coaches are just passive entities in this hateful gambit!**

Thankfully most of the newcomers only have 1 year under Geautreau and Lemonis. 😂😂😂😂
