It took way too long for Lemon....

BUTTTTTTT- I do like where our team is now for the most part.

Pitching? We now have the rotation on solid footing. Pico has done a good job on Fridays. Siary has been solid 2 times thru the order on Saturday. We pulled him exactly when needed yesterday. Sunday? Ligon has the best stuff of the SP's and now appears to finally have the confidence needed on the mound. 2 good starts by him the last 2 weekends.
We have settled into Simmons/Davis/Hungate into long relief roles. They look comfortable there now.
Williams a ****ing beast. I didnt realize he hadnt pitched in almost 3 years early in this season. But he has gotten better and better now that he is back on the hill. He has nasty stuff and did a great job in an extended outing today. Completely electric.

It took awhile- but Parker has us in a good place now.

Hitting? We finally figured out Frei has to play. I'm sure he is taking 100 fly balls a day now and working hard to be the best LF'er he can be. It's ugly but he is making the plays. Kudos to him for working somewhere he has never played and doing his best to make it work. The guy can hit.

I love Reeves in the 2 hole. He looks comfortable there. He also looks alot better at SS than 2B. Some people can switch positions and some cant. Now he is back in his natural position, hopefully he comes thru to stabilize us in the middle. 2B is now in a solid place.

Stevens should be a RF'er but he got hurt Friday. Hopefully he gets better by Friday. Stallman is going to have to be a role player from here on out. Downs just needs do his best when he gets a chance.

Powell and Highfill both need to catch. Helluva job by Highfill pinch hitting today. Our staff worked Powell's ass over this weekend

Something has to be done about CF- we cant sit Cupp and keep playing Trout. Cupp is hitting .303 in conference while Trout is hitting .232. Cupp needs to learn from Frei- swallow any pride he may have standing in the way- and take fly balls in CF every day. Highfill too. Something has to change there.

We're not going to be good defensively- but we can be good enough to get where we need to go.

    Bring on the Gators!!

I agree. Pico goes to way too many 3-2 counts and Siary has too many BB's but things are looking better. Williams is a pure beast as a closer.

And, Stone’s pitches have moved like crazy his last 2 outings!
    I think he’s 100% back! That’s huge for us.

Lemon has to go. He's barely got a .333 win percentage in SEC play since winning the natty. I don't care if we do back into a regional. It's not good enough. His big thing was supposed to be recruiting and we have as little talent as we've had since the end of Polk II and the early Cohen era.

He absolutely can not manage a bullpen at all. Just sits on his ass until the game is completely out of reach.

This group of clowns led by the king clown master aint backing into no regional! They shouldn't even be allowed to participate for 1 day in Hoover. They are an embarrassment to our once proud baseball program!

6 straight hits before pulling a reliever.

Yep. It's just hard to understand why we haven't had the balls to move on long ago. Our leadership is not leading and it shows.
