Arnett would just assume farm as coach. Doesn't like time away from family. I could see Dan & him butting heads. But Dan also just said no recruiting during the season, if I'm on that staff, I want out too. Arnett is way better than the buddy system DC we got right now.

I wish nothing but the best For this man. He got put in a tough spot here and a lot of things were out of his control. Prayers for his family.

I thought it was kind of an odd fit. I wouldn't have been surprised if Dan got rid of him after a year. Six practices is a little surprising.
I wonder if Zach was slamming Dan's offensive staff like he slammed Leach's for coming in at 10:30? A DC isn't going to do that to Dan and get away with it for long.

He wasn't bad as a DC but he was overrated by our fans. He was certainly no Joe Lee Dunn. I'd say Ellis Johnson, Manny Diaz, and Bob Shoop were as good or better than Arnett.
