If what I've heard is accurate, I think fans better understand, baseball is no longer the priority it once was and coaching changes are less likely unless it's so bad boosters want to throw their money at it.

Agree, if he makes post season tourney hes back. I just don't think we make the NCAA tourney because we need to get to 14-16 to likely make it and we still have enough good SEC teams to go that I don't think we can win 13 more SEC games. We have shown very little ability to beat good teams so far this season.

Of course not. Nor should there be. Firing him might make some people happy but it also may cause some other problems. Our damn fans just need to wait two months for this to play out and show some actual patience for once. It will be what it will be. And our fans need to stop expecting the media to ask "hard questions" where the media berates Lemonis publicly. That's not the place for that.

I would add- I think IF we make a regional it's also going to depend on how the team performs in the postseason.

I've just become totally apathetic at this point. Didn't watch an inning the entire weekend just because this team is so frustrating to watch. Sad to think that if we sweep the next 2 weekends we will STILL have a losing SEC record. I too believe it's post-seaon or bust for Lemonis. Don't see how you bring him back if we go 3 out of 4 years missing the NCAA tourney altogether.

As we should be. Go see how you get treated on the road in the SEC. Texas came in here a totally made fun of our program. SEC fan bases are assholes but Howdy Doody MSU is such a beacon of light while getting their asses handed to them in every sport.

I'm still investing hoping it gets better but it's tough being an MSU fan right now. Football was terrible, basketball had a decent year but totally collapsed down the stretch and baseball is just a HUGE disappointment again. And while we might not have an elite team every year in baseball there is no excuse for us not being at least a Top 25 team every year and playing in post season. There is really very little to feel good about at this point relative to our athletic programs. And to add salt to the wounds, OM is doing well in pretty much everything right now.
