Fans have to quit going to the baseball games
-
But who's gonna feed teams after they beat us? For just .$25 a day, you can sponsor a winning baseball player- Call 1-800-LFL-PRTY

It's likely gonna be over at the end of the season. We aren't competitive in nature.
-
No we don't. Just time for Zac to do his job. Send Lemonis out. Sooner rather than later.

Agreed
-
They?ll stop going on their own.
No argument from me. Nobody likes to see that crap, especially in person.

Going to baseball games is now like going to The Grove for our fan base. They could care less what the score is or is going to be. It is just a social club.

I agree! And that is very sad! I don’t know if winning will cure this. I would hope our new coach will help bring the old culture of the Dude where our place was he## to play at!

Ha. Social entertainment is what attending games has always been. You think Left Field lounge numbers grew from origin just because of expected win or die attitude caused by today?s money pit of college athletics?
It is just entertainment. To each his own on how they enjoy or be miserable over their individual investment.

That is a great idea. Lets withhold the money we need to hire our new coach.

And we have folks basically saying we can no longer be competitive in college sports. So if that narrative actually plays out, our games become social entertainment instead. Or alternatively our program dies.
I personally just am not wired that way. I love the game and that always be the focus. And I don't think I can ever believe we can not be competitive.

Let’s also get rid of Lemonis and save monies on having to over paying of elite players because none of them want to come play for him! Just saying!

It's the Mississippi State way.
Hey! If we sabotage the program that will really show them and make things better!

Unfortunately it's the only thing they listen to.

Winning cures all. Tough to get excited over sloppy baseball and knowing that your team is going to blow a lead or is unable to claw back from being down more than 2 runs.
The atmosphere will follow the product on the field.

It?s not the Mississippi State way.
It?s the way of every sports team on planet earth.
That?s what happens. Teams start losing and fans stop going.
This isn?t revolutionary.

And maybe you are right. But people used to AT THE VERY LEAST, pay attention to the game. Now you can go out there and walk up to 10 people, and I am not talking find sorority girls who do not look like they give a crap, and 8 of them will not know the score of the ballgame or what inning it is. That is sad.

This is 100% correct. Somehow our fans think that our own fanbase sucks. It's extremely puzzling. This is exactly what all sports teams fans say/do. Like you said, it's not some revolutionary idea that a State fan came up with.
Empty seats force changes immediately. The money is still there because those seats have already been paid for.

If what I've heard is accurate, I think fans better understand, baseball is no longer the priority it once was and coaching changes are less likely unless it's so bad boosters want to throw their money at it.
