Really did not want leaving Sully on third to bite us in the a$$. That would have just been too much disappointment for one day.

We only got the win tonight because of the basketball close loss. Got to keep things in balance. Also, this vaunted MSU baseball offense is not all that vaunted. Only 6 runs in our last 3 SEC games now.

Gotta give Stone and Dotson credit. They got it done.
And Pico was an SEC SP 1 all day and twice on Sunday.

Oklahoma's pitching was no joke.

Absolutely. This is a win that says we're good enough.

Understand that but we thought our offense had significantly improved this year yet in 3 of our 4 SEC games so far we've scored 3 runs or less. Great win tonight though regardless. This team desperately needed something good to happen and it finally did.

Really nice win by the pitching staff! Gotta get At last 1 more this weekend and hopefully the batters can actually win one for the team. Maybe we can get 9 solo home runs! But probably need to DH for Hines and let Ben Davis bat for himself! Or at least pinch hit for Hines if his spot comes up with a runner in scoring position! 😂

I think we need to sit Hines again and go back to Downs in the lineup with Stallman at first.
