I've definitely seen some of our fans say that. Not you.

1-Letting Stallman bat 5 times was bad. 5 clueless AB's. With his twin brother HH 1 for 9. Especially with Frei and Stevens watching.

2-Downs feaking out, that's baseball. He is suspect now, definitely not a RF. With Stallman at LF, that's a bad OF.

3-Hungate, why didn't he use this blown save and meltdown for last spring in the Regional. That's baseball I guess. This was Chernobyl level.

4-Highfill and the pickoff at 3B. But he had 4 RBIs and no pass balls and no stolen bases. Forgiven. Plus Downs put the kid at 3rd to begin with.

5-PH for Cupp, a kid that understands strike zones but not Stallman. Plus Cupp is difference maker at SS. Bad.

6-Pinch run for Reece, what? That kid is quick and already at 2nd base.

7-Coach34 would have pulled Pico after 6, I would have left him for the 7th, so that's my fault, not St. Justin's fault.

My biggest problem with the coaching staff since the first game Lemon coached is that they try to steal outs with pitchers and leave them in too long. Today was yet another example

Stallman has played well to this point but he should have been hit for
I knew Trout was not going to be of help today
Parker sux for sending Pico out in the 7th and then not pulling Hungate when he was gettin torched. I dont understand. We have plenty of arms. I'm bringing McPherson immediately after the first 2 guys got hits. ****ing stupid to lose this game today

Our pre schedule was fairly iffy to really know and after the loss today, it’s still early to know how things work out. But I’m not surprised.

Not the way we needed to start the Sec at home. Need to win the second game to ease the pain.

I totally agree. Fact is we did several dumb things on decisions by players and coaches.

Lemonis is in top 10 highest paid college baseball Coaches. Our hitting Coach is also one of highest paid as assistant coach. We have a 65 million dollar investment in a baseball stadium, gotta start getting our investment back soon!

like church softball, the team with the most E's loses.
there were plenty E's that have been mentioned here already. this looked like the spring break high school games i've been to this week except the part where some of the high school coaches are better baseball minds.

Sec is by far best baseball conference and has been for a long time. We rank 84th in RPI, and are in 14th place in Sec with RPI. We are ranked every year at the top are very close to #1 in game attendance. It goes back to Coaching to get us where we belong nowdays.

We have money for baseball. I think college kids want to go where fans treat them like kings. Basketball is different.

It is early but I think I heard a drum warming up in the LFL. Lemonis has no excuses for baseball, he had everything needed and won but then he got lazy and content. It showed and now he has to prove himself or else.

Pico is only good for about 5 or 6 innings and has shown that throughout the early season. Bringing him back out for the 7th was a mistake. And while Hungate crapped the bed its hard to fault the staff for bringing him in as the first option as I don't think he had given up an earned run all year. I still think we are short one more high level SEC starter and we all questioned during the off season why we didn't go after a top line starter in the portal? We got Pruitt who was decent but we really didn't add a top line starter for a team that lost its Fri and Sat SEC starters that were both really good. Afraid we are going to pay for not making that move. We would have been better off spending more NIL on another top line starter than whatever we spent on pulling in a bunch of position players as we now have more servicable position guys than we can even play. 7 runs should be enough to win on most SEC Friday nights. One bad inning was all it took to blow yesterday's game. Lots of pressure now on our starters for game 2 and 3 and both will by iffy.

I couldn't understand leaving Hungate in it was clear he didn't have it.

I don't feel good about winning two games Sunday, heck I am iffy about winning one now. Hope i am wrong.

Lemonis deserves and gets plenty of blame.

Bottom line is, this is the product he will deliver year in and year out because he can?t recruit a team. Sooner the excuse makers realize it the sooner we quit having people defend Lemon.
