Dogs win! Sure hope we get Cupp back for the Texas series.
-
Notice how my Dog Evan Siary had a good start. 6 innings and zero runs this season.
The ODU kids are competitive players, as soon as weakness was shown, they were coming back.
-
Quite possibly the worst TV broadcast of my lifetime

Yep, and we will get an encore of it tomorrow night.

It was HORRENDOUS. If I can figure out who to contact, they will get an earful.

Exhibit A of the garbage that minor league baseball has become and why college baseball is passing it.

I think the home run rattled Grant a little bit. Good job by Parker of getting him settled down.

They're not good but I agree that competitive is a good word to describe them. Definitely better than some of the other teams we have played and I think they over scheduled some.

I'm going to say this and no one will agree with me- but watching Powell and Highfill- Ross is better than Powell IMO.
That wild pitch wasn't his fault. It hit in front of the plate. I think it would have gotten past a lot of MLB catchers.
And no I'm not saying Ross was great. But he wasn't horrible this game. We'll see if it carries over.

He was good but he was also getting a little gassed in the third. I think starting him midweek is a perfect role for him and then letting him pitch an inning or two on the weekend if needed.
Nate Williams was disgusting. Looks like a MLB relief pitcher. Grant and Burns has some good and bad. Luke Dotson looked good too. Chase Hungate earned his NIL tonight. He's a good pitcher.

Same assholes that killed the Mississippi Braves.

I think many schools would have a losing record versus their schedule.
Not only a spicy schedule, 11 games on the road, Texas has not even played a single road game this year.

One thing I really like- our offensive approach. Almost all our outs even are in the middle of the field. The wind knocked down at least three MSU home runs tonight.

As much as we (myself definitely included) pooped on GoTro, early returns are really good on this offense. Top 10 in homers right now I believe, also very high average.

Drove by the park on Tuesday and indeed it was packed.... planning on going today
OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) - Ole Miss campus police ask students to behave at future baseball games following a recent incident.
The university said students were reportedly throwing rocks at Georgia baseball players during last weekend's series.

Shucker's stadium has statcast, it would be cool if they activated this for the college games there.
But maybe the college teams asked for this to be deactivated.
Last year, these college games in Minor League parks had awesome statcast feeds.

Absolutely brutal. Worst production I've ever seen.

Game is at 5. I was going but got stomach problems this morning. The stat cast is run by MILB and yes it's good. There are only 3 cameras at the field one in each dugout and a stationary one by the pressbox.
