MSU needs a tutorial on Batting Lineups
I see why Reeves is playing but he's a leadoff man today?
Two of the better hitters Stallman and Frei going to watch the game? With a mid Righty on the mound?

The eye test tells me we're a bottom third of the league team. We've won one game against a decent team. Starting pitching is very average by SEC standards but the pen is decent. Poor defense up the middle and a lineup that struggles to hit with RISP doesn't bode well for us in league play. aTm has been the most disappointing team thus far. Way too much talent to only be 8-5 at this point. The confederates are by far the most improved.

Nice hit by Stevens. Guy hitting near 400 and he is 6th. Maybe rime to move him up. And Downs with number 2. And he is 7th. Who makes the lineup.

Downs needs to play regularly. Can he play Catcher?

Frei needs to find a spot. Stallman put himself on the bench with yesterday's performance in the leadoff spot. Downs needs to play no matter which side the pitcher throws from!
Can we DH 2 spots? 😳 pitcher and catcher!

Chance was afraid he was going to earn some pine time so he lined one out of the park to go 1-9 so far this weekend!
