I may have missed it, but what happened with us and Coats? I think I saw he was down to WVU and Ole Miss.

We lost Crisler to Colorado, who doesn't even have an OL coach. Major whiff there

Grace may be even better than I thought if UGA is actually interested in him.

Is he more of a guard? We need a tackle.

The guy lost his starting job this year, it wasn't a major miss

We need two corners from P4 programs to hit the portal and we need them both. If the goal is to get to 6 wins, we need two solid corners from the portal. Just my opinion.
It's deeper for sure but starters aren't what we need. When Jones is the top guy and he struggled, then you get a Keennesaw and NAIA guy? That's pretty rough and easily the worst looking CB room in the SEC. We signed bodies.

People don't want to hear it but this isn't a quick fix. We can't fill every spot we need with good players, we have to fill them with the best we can get. That's on the coaching staff to figure out who is willing to come to this rebuild too. Like I said before this started, top guys don't want to go to a 2-10 team rebuilding. We better find a way to win 6 games if we want to change opinions and we better hit on a lot of the guys we have to reach on. Got to improve recruiting but it's hard if you don't win games. With all these street agents running things, recruiting is going to be difficult for us.

It's not a quick fix to go from 2 to 10. It is a quick fix to go from 2 to 5-6 though. Fact of the matter is, we had a roster last year that had multiple guys playing, and in some cases starting, that could not start for a G5 team, much less another P4 team. We have remedied that through losing guys and adding some really solid pieces. Depth will still be an issue at some positions in the fall.

Correct. No 2-10 team is signing a bunch of proven P4 guys.
We have to hit on some under the radar guys and get to 5-6 wins next year.
That will get you in the game for a little better players to get to 7 wins. Then you can aim higher.

Just an update on where things stand as far as WRs.
I feel cautiously optimistic by what I've heard on Evans
It's just a matter of time with Williams.
The staff would not turn down another WR if the right one was to present itself.

We look to be signing lots of bodies. The more we have added recently, the more the class ranking in the portal has dropped as it is now number 8. Take out a few and the average of most of these guys is probably about .85. Look to be hoping that many of these guys make a jump, many from lessor programs. Time will tell.

He never came on a visit and wasn't going to get an offer unless he did

My guess is one of the WRs. I would have preferred Ray, but at this point we need some players that have potential. Both Ayden and Evans have potential. At this point, I'd rather that than a low production WR from the MAC.

It's sounding like Ayden Williams and Anthony Evans are in the boat.
