You may or may not be right but full time safety and part time WR makes sense even if he was never going to be a major contributor as WR if he is that good of an athlete. He can go all in learning the defense and have a few plays installed on offense.

Personally, I would prefer him to pick a side of the ball and focus on that but it's not big of a stretch to have a few plays he learns as a WR but I can't see someone doing that as a safety. You would get exposed quickly at the safety position trying to part time it but as a WR? They could design some reverses, bubble screens, even a few routes or as a decoy in limited action as a WR and it be effective. You do that if he is that guy when it comes to abilities. I have no idea if that is the case but what little I saw of him, I was impressed.
