I don't understand this with NIL. With what we are paying some of these guys, what's wrong with covering their tuition as NIL instead of schollies? His NIL would essentially be the cost of a scholarship. And we can call him a walk-on

I don’t think it’s about scholarship vs NIL. It’s the actual number of roster spots we have open total…I think.

I think Williams can be a good player. The guys he sat behind were NFL type guys, not scrubs. Lane doesn't rotate WR's, doesn't mean the kid isn't talented.
