I know an ex-Saint. Can't say who or how b/c of HIPPA. He told me a couple of weeks ago that Lane is lobbying HARD for the Saint's job. There is interest but they are also looking at a couple of guys with more NFL coaching experience.

I had some conversations with Mike Detillier a few weeks ago and he confirmed this. Said he is behind some people. Said Joe Brady is the favorite for the job.

6’4 290. He could pop. Got injured in HS and got buried on the depth chart at Texas. He is fully healthy now but like I said, got buried on the depth chart. I think he could be really good though.

I think a wild card for Lane Kiffin if he does desire to go to the NFL is the Miami Dolphins. Now, I don't think they will actually fire Mike McDaniel. That would be incredibly stupid, IMO, even with the down season they have had this year. However, if they did fire him, I think Lane would absolutely jump at the chance to coach Tua Tagovailoa in the NFL. Plus, Miami fits his lifestyle.

That is one of the two jobs he openly covets. He would take a massive pay cut to coach the Dolphins or the Bucs. Dolphins because of Miami and Bucs because of Monte. He sees the Saints job as a way to A) get into the NFL again and B) not piss off the OM fanbase too much by going to a team a lot of them support. I will give Lane this, he realizes that Ole Miss took a massive chance on him and he definitely is grateful for that.

They are higher. They also have 5 four star transfers vs our 1 four star (LK)

Nope, nobody transfer rankings changed after commitment.

Our rankings also don't include Burroughs but he is essentially portal addition.

The most important thing is to meet our needs. We are doing that. And unless we tank the last half of the portal season we should be a much better team than last year.

Without question the defense is already better.

I know Knox is coming to supposedly be the QB at oxford high and all but I doubt it lasts for 4 more full season there in oxfart. maybe i am wrong.
