Still time to change it, but so far we've lost more (numbers and rating) than we've gained. That's pretty disturbing

Should be a pretty active week for us. Kromenhoek should commit, feeling good about Jalen Smith, Delano Townsend could be in the boat this week, as well a few others.

Right, wrong, or indifferent we still have a DL coach employed that doesn?t believe in paying his group and thinks his ?resume? speaks for itself in McPhee, Cox, Boyd, Smith, & Jones. However it wasn?t he who actually got 3/5 to commit to us.
Damon Payne just entered portal. Make an offer he can?t refuse. At this point, as others have said, you need some good players in the middle to at least give your edge guys a chance.

Will Whitson will be coming in for a visit this week. He and Santana Hopper are probably the two best DL available from a production standpoint.

Eh biggest portal losses to me are Pollock and Coleman. I do wish that MVB wouldn?t have ask for guaranteed playing time, especially with getting paid, but it happened and we have to adjust. Lebby has to land the FL State kid for a perception win.

Serious question - it seems every season is a gonna be a full rebuild. With this in mind, our extremely difficult schedule, and lebby guaranteed a 3rd season, should we consider banking some of our NIL money, add to it next season, and then go all-in in year 3?

No need to be disappointed, portal season isn't over then it's a wait and see next fall to know!

That?s great. But at some point, those visits need to transition into signing. And right now they aren?t.

Schedule is absolutely brutal. At least we get some of those at home-so hopefully Selmon dials up game day experience more for everyone to give future players some hope about an updated environment. Good thinking though on 26..you may see it happened.

Bro, we need momentum with key positions. It's slow motion. I'm expecting more options once spring practice is over.

We have had a few guys who would have committed that the coaches have held off on taking for the time being. Will Whitson and Raishein Thomas would both be good gets if they decide to commit this week.

Boy that numbers part is dead wrong. 21 of those guys weren't even in the two deep by the Egg Bowl.
"We will have no problem in handling Kentucky."-Turfdawg67. MSU suffered a 27-17 defeat in 2022 with 225 yards in total offense.

I'll be stunned if he doesn't end up at Auburn.

We aren?t exactly in a position to be ?holding off on guys?. they will take guys and bring them in for spring ball and if said guys aren?t cut out for it-they?ll push them to hit spring portal session. That?s how it?s going to go. Take as many guys as you think and see what you got in spring ball.
