Wasn't Arnold still on a visit to Auburn?

Agree with all of this. However, for people to act like he is this irreplaceable superstar is asinine. The guy had the same problems in his last start that he did in his first.

I don't think MVB or Arnold are irreplaceable. I think both are still very much projects.

Arnold just seemed more fit for this offense IMO.

Based off what? He played in it sparingly and had better weapons when he did.

I don?t he?s moving the goalposts again. We play in the SEC, every week is brutal. You make the plays or not. MVB didn?t progress enough to not have to work to retain his spot. And definitely didn?t rate 1mil NIL. He is still a small QB that will never be able to handle the entire run and shoot. The QB has to be a threat with the ball in his hands to pass and run. No team played the QB run part of our offense because they knew he wasn?t going to pull it out of the mesh. We have to make the other team play 11 on 11 not 11 on 10.

In the right system with the right coach, players can make a huge change from one year to the next.
(This is just a response to the Fitz comment. No idea if this dude is good or not)

Lebby's run and shoot needs a QB who runs like Fitz and throw like Dak.

It would have been close, but ultimately Nick?s inability in the passing game would have likely been the limiting factor.

I believe we would have went 11-1 at worst and played in the SECCG. Nick could have thrown 10 passes a game and won those games.

you can commit on a visit. Just can't sign the paperwork until the next day.

Arnold's visit ended Friday night. He signed Saturday morning.
Have to wait until after midnight the day of your visit to sign is my understanding.

all we can do is let it play out and see who we end up with out of the portal. but my concern is that we are putting a value on a player, maybe it's a fair market value and that is the approach. that's not going to work. the perception of our program with agents and portal players and practically everyone is not good. we are going to have to over-pay for players. Lebby said we are only take 15 players. if we have 10-13 million which has been rumored, go out there and make strong aggressive offers to fill these holes in the roster. For example, center. We desperately need a center. Let's say the guy from Oklahoma is looking for 200K. Offer the guy 400K and be done with it. Don't let him visit Colorado. I'm just throwing numbers out there, but you see my point.

No team is winning anything by just throwing it 10 times a game.

On positions of need (oline, dline, CB), I agree. I'm glad we didn't do that with Arnold and MVB though bc Homedawg and others have said it's gonna be shapen next season.

Correction: it’s going to be Shapen for the first 4-5 games. Then he will be out with injury. Go ahead and earmark this because it’s the truth.
