Yea........that's not true. The mods on that board have even said the number isn't 2.5. Also, what QB in their right mind is going to leave a starting job to go be backup so that he can COMPETE for the job in 26 with a guy Freeze has hand picked in Deuce Knight. Oh and if Freeze doesn't go 9-3 or better.....HE WON'T EVEN BE AT AUBURN.
That is someone throwing crap at a wall to see what sticks.

Further proof that our “fan boy” media has no sources anymore. Not a mention of this kid and Lebby signs him.
And before we hear the, “well he could not get on the field there so why do we want him?” Well he was scheduled for visits with LSU and A&M over the weekend. So big time programs think he can play. Big get for Lebby. And we ain’t done with OU receivers…..
From what I've been told, this should mean we are still in it with JA

Yeah, that is not true, who ever posted that on those boards. They are not paying $2.5MIL for a backup. They are signing 2-3 QB's out of the portal. That's true but not at that money for a back up.

It's not. That's why MULTIPLE coaches will leave for the NFL after Jan 5th. It's an open secret in coaching circles that there's a coach in the playoffs that is going to leave for the NFL. Who is it? I do not know. My money would probably be on Kirby but there's a world where it's Dan Lanning

Freeze is desperate at this point and that's why he's throwing money at everything that moves because he knows he's gone if they don't win at least 9 or maybe 8 if a win against bama is in the 8.

A win against Bama IS A MUST. He could go 11-1, but if he lost to Bama he would be fired. That is from a pretty impeccable source at Auburn. They're sick of losing to Bama. I think their last victory was 2019. They won't tolerate 3 straight losses and 6 straight in the series.

It?s simple really. You just have no time for family or relaxation or hobbies. Everyone on the internet hates you or loves you based on the decision of a 20 year old. And you?re stressed 24/7. Sounds like a dream job to me

The funny thing with all that is that the majority of people outside the SEC actually believe the hookers were for Hugh. He was involved with a hairdresser in Hernando, MS at the time, of course she wasn't the only one.

They're all so ego driven as well. That's why none of them can quit. Like if I was a coach, I would get that first 4 or 5 year contract, bank my money, and retire at 38. I mean Kirby has made probably well over 100 million in salary in his life. The only thing that keeps a person going at that point is ego.

Yeah, he fell on the sword for Ole Miss. He wasn't the only one. I know a coach that Ole Miss paid him millions to take the fall during that time.

They were going to stab him with that sword if he didn't.

Absolutely, that slimy bastard will definitely not be deterred by morality.

Murphy to Auburn.
Arnold to state.
That's my hunch at this point. Lot of posturing.

I know there was a rumor last night on that board that Nic Anderson had silently committed. There was no context given and the guy said he knew a coach. I have heard, and obviously like I said Bumphis and Lebby are keeping skills guys kind of under wraps, but we're on Farooq and Hester too. No way to confirm any of that though. I doubt those guys would even be announced as visitors. It'd be silent visits and then their reps would leak it to Nakos. Rosebowl is trying to act like he knew about Thompson but he didn't. He had no clue. He found out when everyone else did from Nakos.
