In all seriousness, this guy is a solid pickup. He'll be an edge rush specialist for us. I doubt he'll be an every down guy but in obvious passing situations he'll be on the field. Really good bend off the edge and has finesse moves to get by a tackle

Supposedly he got to AU late yesterday so coming to State today may be delayed. If he doesn?t show up by tomorrow, I assume he?s done. On to the next. JA can go fighy for a starting job that their fans dont want him to have and let?s Freeze through him under the bus if he fails.

Per the Auburn 247 board (Auburn Underground), since we need to source everything now, Maalik Murphy has cancelled his other visits. It sounds like he knows where he wants to go.

Now how that affects Jackson Arnold, it would be easy to say that, "Oh Auburn has their QB so they're done with Arnold". I highly doubt that to be the case. Knowing what I know about the portal, they will put even more pressure on Arnold to commit while he is there. They will sell it as he needs to commit so he doesn't lose his spot in their class.

It sounds like their building prioritizes Murphy a bit higher than Arnold. Which bodes well for us. Not out of the woods by a longshot yet though. Also, if Arnold were to end up at Auburn, do not be surprised to see us kick the tires on Maalik Murphy.

Malik Murphy in this offense would be similar to Joe Milton in this offense at Tennessee. OK with some flashes, but nothing consistent due to accuracy issues.

Lebby should be offering every QB he likes and thinks could upgrade the position. Offer all the AU QBs that freeze wants that we would actually want. Hit back some. Can’t give them or the QBs all the leverage.

Apologies if this has already been touched on but are we reaching out any to Jahiem Oatis? He's from the state so I assume we would and with our need there he would be a big pickup.

Doesn't seem like too many people are on him but on3 is pretty high on him. PFF graded him earlier in the year very high.
