one thing that was mentioned on SEC this morning by a AD was why go out of the way to schedule tough OOCs when Boise State and SMU get in with their Sos. ND 59th, Boise State 78th, ASU62nd and Indiana 67th. Meanwhile UGA 1st, Texas 20th and Tenn 28th. And the Big 10 gets 4 slots with OHST having the toughest SOS at 29th. Time for no more conf champs and just the top 12 or even better knock it down to the top 6.
Yep, who wants to play a Conference championship and risk getting bumped out of the CFP. Do away with the automatic bids and set the CFP seeds before conference championships. Conference championships will be a thing of the past, I'm afraid - or you will have teams opting out of it.
