    Football Question

    Why do we not run more screens, misdirections, rollouts or bootlegs? Our line can?t block so if we did some of these a few times, it might slow down or keep the defense somewhat honest.

    I don't think those types of plays are a big part of the Veer and Shoot traditionally.

    I agree that those plays can help but I think we have to also remember that we're learning the offense as a team and we're starting a true freshman QB. So I think that in and of itself is going to limit some of the things that we add this year.

    Not to mention we can't pass block at all so that's going to limit pass plays.

    Lebbo paired down the O when we went to the Rookie. Playbook is limited right now
