He played it in high school and 1 year in Juco. Better question is why did he ever play LF since he never has in his life. #Cohening

He hasn't played it this whole year and he has been struggling out there. He almost misplayed the ball at the track by over running it (if you can believe that) and over threw a ball that allowed runners to get to second and third. Luckily we got a ground out to get out of that inning.

No what has bitten him in the ass is not having two studs in the lineup to bail him out and cover up his inability to teach hitters proper technique and approach at the plate. Nothing more, nothing less. There's a strange reason that Armstrong is our best hitter with the best technique and approach at the plate. Can anyone guess why? Anyone?????? Maybe one day people will start to see what I'm talking about if these last few weeks haven't made the light come on just yet.
If anyone cares to do so go back to my poss during last season. He should have played more and he is our most mechanically sound hitter because why?????? HE PLAYED JUCO AND WAS TAUGHT HOW TO HIT.

Another strike out for Rea. I am now on the bench his ass bandwagon. Going to the top of the 7th 5-1 Ole Miss.

4 straight sec losses. 6 out of 8. We aren't good. There are hs teams in miss that hit better than us. I'm extremely disappointed in this team, but the fact is they just suck

Not surprised. Our hitters aren't comfortable due to lack of consistency in the lineup, and now we're doing it in the field. For Christ's sake, put our best players out there and let them do what got them recruited

Do we even have the ability to come back from four runs?

This team, and more importantly these Seniors, are a disappointment and should be embarrassed. Wake the hell up and lead. Quit acting like pussies that feel like they deserve a spot in postseason bc of last year. You're getting whooped by a bunch of bitches

I think the reason they have hit Mitchell is that his slurve wasn't breaking as sharp and stayed up. Hence their ability to hit it. If he was sharp tonight, he would have had more then 5 strike outs as aggressive they are swinging.

Not unless we get a ton of walks, HBP and errors from the other team.

And Armstrong on base again. Glad we are keeping him down in the 7 hole.

Why don't we have Armstrong leading off? That is the biggest enigma I have seen so far this year.

Same reason Henderson, our other best hitter, is riding pine. #Cohening
