    Freezer burn on the plains

Trying to distract myself from our mediocrity, honest question how long is Auburn going to give freeze.

He went 6-7 last year, is showing that he cannot develop a QB. He is still having QB issues. Auburns doesn't have an easy schedule their next two are Oklahoma and Georgia. Their given Vandy win isn't given this year.

I see them being another 6-6 at best really if the QB situation doesn't fix itself soon could be 4 win team this year.

He'll probably get next year to turn it around. I will admit that I am surprised at how he has struggled. He kind of had an advantage that is gone with NIL and the portal as opposed to when he was the only one trying to get an advantage with it illegally.

Idk if being out of the big leagues for quite a few years he lost his step. But dang I thought they would be much better than they are right now.

Petrino went to Boise State and got Green. He knew exactly who he wanted and got him. For Freeze to still be trying to put a square peg in a round hole is concerning.

I still think Freeze will be successful. He's just won wherever he's been. I know others will point to his recruiting ethics from before but you can have all the talent in the world and still have a crappy football team and what he did at OM vs Bama is remarkable and I honestly think that may be what landed him under the microscope. He nearly beat them 3 years in a row while aside from one year since Croom we've never had a competitive game vs them. He'll find his stride **if** they give him time. Big if though.

Outside of his ability to run I'm not impressed with Green at all. He has some serious accuracy issues and will cost his team games down the road because of it.
