I see why the OU fans wanted Lebby gone.

He is a terrible play caller. All my OU friends wanted him gone for that reason and I brought it up multiple times when we hired him. Their entire fanbase wanted him gone. I have never seen a team run the ball so much on second and third downs with 15+ to go. And I'm not seeing the creativity.

We are not well-coached. Not disciplined. Not in shape. I don't even care about the losses. It's just how bad of a team we are. Based on what I have seen so far, we might as well have kept Arnette and saved the buyout money for paying players.

OU was 4th in the country scoring last year and 47th this year so far. I don't think you and your OU pals understand numbers. Like at all.

We are 57th in scoring so far (up from 107th last year)

My main beef is that it felt like our coaching staff concede the game way to early. Then they 17ed around and realized too late that we were still in it. They are inexperienced and it shows.

I believe we scored 9 touchdowns in SEC play last year and today we scored four. And really should have had 6.

Also if our defense could stop people every now and then our offense would have the ball more and we would actually score more just because of that. I bet our defense is costing us at least 7-14 PPG just because they can't get off the field.

We scored 11 TD's last year in conference games. But I agree with your premise and what we left on the table today

My source was a guy leaving the game today so I should obviously use something more reliable. LOL.

The play calling leaves room for improvement no doubt. It feels very predictable. And I don?t understand the run calls and 2nd or 3rd and long. Throw the ball and maybe you get a PI call.

The 4th and 1 at the goal line where we ran a pitch play with a QB with a broken arm was mind boggling

I actually thought our run offense looked a lot better yest. The Online was getting good push against their d and if I’m not mistaken, their D has been pretty good against the run (I may be wrong). The pass protection looked like shit tho. We’re gonna have to move the pocket more the VB or Parson.

Y’all may as well get ready, it is gonna be plum ugly against Tennessee. Their D is nasty and Niko is unreal looking. We may not have 100 yards of offense against them…

You can rely on numbers or you can realize that we are early in the season and OU has already played a better defense than it did all of last year. Their offense is terrible though. After two of their losses last year, the entire fanbase blamed it on lebby and his play calling - I live in OU country - they wanted him gone like we wanted Moorhead gone

Tell me anywhere on the field where we look well coached - bad teams that are improving generally have bright spots

OU is about to find out they're nothing more than a piss ant in this league. They're just a softball school who thought they were a football school.

Going into this season everyone said if we avg 30 in SEC play that’s a great job by Lebby, we got 28 game 1 with our backup qb playing q4

Yea but no one realized we would average giving up 50 per game… We knew we would be bad on D, but not historic bad…

That's because we have no defensive coaching. We can't tackle and don't understand formations. We need to change whoever is calling our defensive plays.
