If everybody did that, we'd be fine because we would have the big donors to add to it.
Well, I'm with you guys. I don't understand how thousands of die hard fans can't give at least $20 bucks a month.

But I tell ya what. When I win one of those $400-$500 million dollar lotteries, I got y'all. I'll give Charlie a check for $150 million for NIL

Well if we start winning that gets people more fired up and willing to donate. Unfortunately we aren't winning right now. We got behind and it's put us in a hole without a ladder. It's going to be a hard climb but they are going to have to at least make things interesting at first to get people involved and start to donate then they can slack off on items, events etc and do it the way we're currently doing it which is say we're going to suck unless you donate.

That being said, why don't they get someone to donate$1 to ole miss to get in their news letters just to see how it's done. They have it figured out it seems. We look lost. Again they were put in a hole and I'm sure they're doing stuff behind the scenes but all I've seen is hires. So we're paying former MS MS and whoever else but I'm not sure what for at this point. Seems that money could have been used on a player. She could be volunteering, no clue. No hate on her. I appreciate her but unless she's bringing in much more than her salary, we're wasting those dollars. It would be better spent on someone who had an idea how to fix this, hire former player that goes to a watch party in say Jackson and raise money to attend. I'm sure boobie would be all over this. Is he involved and why not if so

On Richard Cross's show they said Charlie was live on On3 last night and said after Saturday's loss NIL donations have INCREASED.

There was also a lot of speculation that if we won Saturday over Florida Lebby would be giving his impassioned "The fans need to give to NIL if they want more wins like this." speech.

Here is how to do it:

    1) Sign people up
    2) Collect their money

    The end.

I already do it, they signed me up quickly, easily.

I just think they are not focused on this and dont know the power of numbers. It just taked time and commitment.

When i heard Ole Miss had 5,000 people signed up, myy tought was "is that it?" That gave me hope. We cna get past that. Thats nothing.

Maybe I just have a defeatist attitude but even if 15,000 fans gave $20/month we would still be last in the conference. We are small and are already so far behind. A series of unfortunate events and terrible timing led to where we are and I just really do not see a way back. So I just do not think it would make a difference.

Yeah I donated about a year and a half ago? Then when they revamped it about 9 months ago? I started giving monthly. I haven't heard anything since other than that one golf event.

I really hope they've just been working on things and are about to roll because I'm really disappointed so far. I'm willing to give more but just the lackluster of how things are going, I have no desire. I'm not thinking about giving more. I'm thinking about giving less and putting all the money I spend on tickets and nil towards something else.

    That would be $3.6 m.

We could buy a 3 good DL and QB with that.

    It would help.

That is nuts that is all 3 and a half mil could get us. We likely have to pay more than other schools to lure them to Starkville too

Apparently Arkansas only has a 1000. Pretty sure we heard the same thing.

Honestly, that doesn't totally surprise me. We need to keep it up!

I think we could get more than that with that much. I guess that gets into the territory of "OK we have this much how do we spend it?"

Our fans that are anti-NIL are going to end up donating whether they like it or not. It's just going to come in the form of an increase in their Bulldog Club donation and they won't even know it. And maybe a "talent tax" on tickets like Tennessee. Eventually anyway. And I think the Bulldog Initiative will continue to be around so that fans can direct where their money goes if they choose to.
