We should not worry about penalties on defense - focus on aggression
When Jackie was first here, i seem to recall he said something like that and we were heavily penalizxed.
However, we hit and were aggressive.
It is worth it. We need attitude.

We do. We need copious amounts of personal fouls and a couple targeting calls.

Yeah, the players have to do some stuff to change our teams attitude.
If you are going down, go down with a fight.
If you are losing in chess, get up and throw the board on the ground, scattering pieces everywhere.

This is a good suggestion.
Our fans are generally wrong on most stuff. Out Athletic Dept shopuldn't listen to them, unless they want to fail mightily (like now).
However, like Jackie Sherrill, I'm right here.

I agree. We need to master some fundamentals before we start targeting someone.
Actually, if we did try to target someone we would probably whiff and just end up flying by the guy we're trying to tackle.

It was also a different game on defense when Jackie coached. You could actually hit people on defense. Now, you sneeze on the QB and its a PF. Get 2 and you are gone.
We need more aggression, but you can't go out head hunting like its 1998.

About hitting the QB just ask SCe how that went for them/ BTW I hit Reggie Collier after dam near every throw to scare him/ Didn't work.
