I used to think a big time pass rush was more important to protect man coverage. But now, I think a weak pass rush allows receivers to find holes in the zone. You just have to have a great pass rush or you have to blitz 50% of the time to stop these modern offenses and very good QBs.
And with a running QB somehow you have to maintain a contain rush to prevent that 30 yard takeoff.
