After having a great season- Fischer wanted to renegotiate for more money. Mississippi complied and gave him more NIL money for 2025.
Fischer then jumps into the portal 3 days before the deadline. Why? Tenn/Vitello slips in and offers him 6 figures more than Skenes got from LSU.

Not sure how many remember but Georgia tried to poach Dakota Jordan last year from us. And we stopped it from happening. Everyone would remember if he left.

There is a reason why Tennessee is poaching Ole Miss and not say- Alabama or Georgia or MSU. Ole Miss has some major NIL issues in baseball. They're vulnerable.

And they thought Jake Mangum was bad for their program. I think this is going to get pretty ugly for them. If Fisher wants a counter offer based on the way that Walker Jones is acting I don't think he gets it. Which means if he isn't bluffing he's walking. And losing Doyle is going to hurt as well.

And then when they finally are able to buyout Bianco in a year or two I think they're going to have a hard time finding someone between salary and the remaining crater left behind. I only say two because the buyout is apparently that bad.

Put the chairs in the wagon revival is over. Damn I hate college baseball has come to this. Really liked college baseball because it was one of the college sports more non effected by NIL than basketball/football. Well we damn sure won’t be winning any national championships anytime soon. I just don’t see us having 500K to spend on ANY player.
