    I do not believe that for a second. Most of the numbers thrown out in that range are bogus.

    I know a freshman backup qb that is making 60k a month. He is buying a house and living it large as an 18 year old at an SEC school.

    I don't think this Pandora's Box will ever be closed again. As long as there are NCAA sports this is now part of it. I'm afraid it's either this or schools start shuttering sports because they can't afford it any more. When football and basketball start coming close to breaking even at best then it all gets one behind the ear.
