Foxhall killed us more than anything with Skenes. With Montgomery, I don't know that we'll ever get the full story on that one. Maybe it was just truly he didn't want to play in MS. And if that's the case, then I get it. I just find it really hard to believe with what we offered him NIL wise that he wouldn't have sucked it up for 10 months

Big portal addition, Indiana St 1B Luis Hernandez. .359 BA, .421 OBP, .694!!! Slg, 23 HRs, 76 RBIs. OPS sits over 1.000. 20% K rate is just a bit concerning, but Dakota was 35% and Hines was basically 30% so much lower than them.

Could be headed for USF with his coach, but he's a guy you'd definitely throw a boatload of NIL at.

Well, we haven't gotten a top end transfer from the portal since NIL started. That's just a fact. Ledbetter and Stephen are maybe the 2 best but they certainly weren't considered elite. Maybe that's the best 'top ten' gets you.

Yep, great player for sure but I don't think the NIL stuff had really ramped up at the time we got him.
