One thing I have constantly seen with this team is we have a terrible eye for what is a strike and what isn't. We take so many good pitches in the zone while swinging at balls nowhere close to the zone. Terrible plate discipline. Larry goes down on a ball that started out low and ended up in the dirt.

Boys starting to heat up!

He couldn't have done ANYTHING with that pitch it was so far in on his hands.

Every year it comes down to which team gets hot at the right time.
Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

Now that Hines and Jordan are both over their slumps, look out everyone!

Meh we're not any worse than any other college team. In fact we're one of the best in the country at making pitchers throw a ton of pitches.

I am about tired of Black Rifle Coffee company. Also, that is the first GSP I have ever seen stay still while on a leash. Haha.

Just had a good buddy text with Hines coming to bat, “here comes third out”. Boom 3 run Homer, I text him back right away, “say wut”. He called me right away and we had a good laugh!

He could have spoiled it. You guys worry too damn much about the umpires! Need to worry about the guys in the maroon shirts! If they do their job, State will overcome close calls!

Worst of it has been over the last few weeks where the offense has struggled so much. Glad Hines got his pitch. Hugesack goes down on another pitch in the dirt.

Yeah most of that was Jordan and Hines and I agree with you on those 2 rest of them team not so much. That pitch to Hujsak was filthy. A change from a lefty on 3-2 when you're looking fastball and look where the pitch started looked just like a fb. Can't fault a hitter on that was great pitch.
ETA notice how many of va hitters are swinging at bad pitches. That's becaue these pitchers have elite stuff

I just said he likely couldn't have. Would have been right on his hands. I'm more worried about us going after pitches that are unhittable out of the zone than I am the umps.

What a GREAT play to get the out at second by Larry
-
Jordan hitting ✔️
Hines hitting ✔️
Larry playing defense ✔️
