They consistently- as in every time try to do too much.
Lemonis needs to sit them down individually and tell them that getting a base hit is Ok. They don't have to carry the team. The biggest hit in MSU history was a seeing eye single from Tanner Leggett. Sometimes that's all you need.

With him back now and with Augers performance and Dohm and Pico back, this team is extremely dangerous.
Of course, they are capable of getting run ruled also! Haha!!

The problem is that Dakota has never learned how to be a hitter. He is going to be Giancarlo Stanton/Bo Jackson 2.0.

DJ is 11 of last 34 so yeah I was wrong. He's still anti-clutch tho and has quite a few 0 fer games the last few weeks.

When is the last time Mississippi got to end their season with a walkoff loss to MSU? This was such a sweet win.

Kudos for admitting you were wrong. That's a rarity on this board.

Probably should put Hujsak between them.

We needed DJ to hit a ground ball to the right side. We needed Hines to let Mershon take that bag, but that's tough to do.

I been saying that for about 6 weeks but actually I'd put Hujsak in the 3 hole because he's a more complete hitter that doesn't strike out as much as DJ and Hines. He's clutch too.

Yep.
1. Chance
2. Mersh
3. Sack
4. Hines
5. DJ

There is a better chance of me hitting one 450 than Dakota Jordan going the other way.

Probably should put 4 guys between them. That way if one leads off with the first out of an inning the other one hopefully doesn't make the 3rd out if the inning until at least a run has scored. Right now, it's either they make the 2nd and 3rd out back to back or one makes the last out of the previous inning and the other one makes the first out of the next. Having unproductive outs in the middle of the line up is like having sub .200 batters in the 7-9 spots.
