It's really not. Extend him a little, it's late in the season when you do that. He does need to be more efficient.

Why do you actually have to run into the end zone if you've outrun the defense? Why not just stop at the 30 and say "obviously that's a TD, I'm headed to the sideline now!" ?

I disagree. He is at 85 pitches through 4 innings. He is not going 7 innings, and he is certainly not going 8 innings.

I agree. Which is why I was really hoping for a run rule. I like this team but I don't trust them with a 15-0 lead if there's still a few innings left.

I criticize him for not being clutch at the plate, but on that play he got caught in between going after the grounder or going to first. Had Pulliam given him time to turn around, he would gotten an out.
