I mean we got beat on a walkoff and they only had 4 hits all day. I understand we got beat and I understand you're a troll who knows next to nothing about any sport you spout off about, but that is even too far out for you. Which is impressive honestly.

Should've swept and we only come away with 1.
Absolutely pathetic. Choked it away.

Yeah your hindsight is awesome ! And if he's playing in and they hit it by him you'd be bitching about that.

Great post!

Those clutch hitters had very few hits this weekend.

Disagree. We have missing pieces and still don't have leadership. The first 5 guys in our order are good hitters when there is no pressure. But when the pressure is on they curl up like a 6 week old puppy.

No consolation in this series. Should have swept, but lost 2-3. Glaring deficiencies showed when it mattered most. Lemon and Parker have got to get closing figured out. With a closer, we have at least 4-5 more wins this season.

You'd be wrong about that since they're hitting over 350 with runners in scoring position

The Chance AB in the 6th was where the game turned. We had all the momentum. If that ball is 3 ft further right or drops 3 ft sooner then we win. That would've scored 2 or 3 more and I think they fold.

All because we don't have an 17'n closer!!! That is where Dohm needs to be when he comes back - good for 3 or 4 outs at the back end of the game.

Yep huge swing there it would've been 6-1 at that point. Give chance credit he did all he could do to on that

Somehow, we lost a series where we were the better team. Can't let that happen. Friday was a killer. Terrible loss.

Well and the thing with Dohm is that if you need him for two innings you know he'll still be good. We need to go ahead and move Stephen to Friday, Cijntje to Saturday, and Siary to Sunday.

We lost a series where we had the lead in the 9th every game and outscored them 21-13 on the weekend.

That pitch call was something else.

Yeah 2 pitches to play with you gotta make him chase at least 2 and then it's still 3-2 if he doesn't, no reason to give him anything he could barrel up there

He still should not have been 25 feet off 3rd base. Not only did they score a run but State didn't get an out in a ball hit in the infield come on C24. You are smarter than that about this sport. 3-1 game with runners at 2nd and 3rd so we play to give up a run to get an out. We don't get the out and still give up the run. Yes, fortunately at the time that was the only run that scored. But after Their RF made the diving catch, our hitters did nothing the rest of the game. So THAT run ended up being a huge one. It ain't about hindsight. It is about where Chester was playing in that instance. He was out of position by at least 10 feet. At least! No need in arguing about any more though because our leadoff guy and our stars sucked today when the pressure was on to come through. The same guy shut them down Friday and today! That dude pitched a lot of pitches in 2 games this weekend. As did Schuelke.

And that is why he will be fired at the end of the season. His inability to find a closer has cost us now 5 games ALREADY this year, 6 or 7 games last year, and 6 or 7 the year before.
