Back to back series win over the corn dogs! Great start to the SEC season. LSU was VERY fortunate to win the game they did.

Amazing we were so close to sweeping those turds. We outplayed them accept for about 2 innings. Just a great series by the team from the staff to the players!

Yep. Really wish we had gone to Davis after the Purdue guy.

Well I was wrong about this team but I always pulled for them. I sure hope this generates the fan base, players and coaches.
I think I saw the MSU Baseball I'm use to seeing since 1970.

Yeah it's fun watching guys bust their butts and play hard and hustle! Remember we talked about that look they had watching lsu celebrate last night after the loss. Those kids were ready to get back out there and punch lsu in the mouth and they did it today. We've got some leaders in the dugout i don't believe we had the last 2 years and it shows. It's so nice watching every single player bust their butt running to first on a ground ball. This team is not taking any pitches off. They're intense on every pitch. It's really enjoyable after the last couple of years of what appeared to be a little apathy

Black has pitched really well for us but he let the umpire affect him after he walked the leadoff when he appeared to have him struckout on 2 separate pitches and the gives up the hr and walked the next guy. It was in his head then and time to make a move but I didn't have problem using black there

It was a learning moment for him. No doubt bout the team hustle and leadership. Glad things changed as what happened in the past I never knew that bunch for MSU baseball.

Any update on dohm? Really need him back.
As for Stephen, he bombed earlier this year, and then had a great next game. Let's hope he bounces back in college station

Black has good stuff and I believe he'll be good for us. As you said he has to use that as a learning experience and not let it snowball. The kids had good command all year and you could tell the calls he didn't get on the first and hitter and then the hr shook him. It happens learn from it

Our relievers all seem to have "stones". Love the approach and our pitching coach has Coached them up! I believe SC is feeling the results of him being gone.

I agree 100%! They all step out there with confidence and Parker has instilled that in them. He also lets them use their strengths instead of the one size fits all approach the last couple of years. Parker also seems to be really good at matching up our pitchers to attack hitters weaknesses. Not everyone can do that. It's a pleasure watching him manage the staff

Now this is the type of grit and determination that MSU baseball has been built on. We just beat their ass today and Friday and had our chances to win Saturday. Still got question marks on game 1& 2 starters because the BP bailed them out so we've got to get that figured out. Down's is showing what he can do when we let him get AB's without being in/out of the lineup. Good defense this weekend too. Good effort all the way up and down the lineup.
