Another blown opportunity. They are stopping themselves at this point.

Penix with a bad game. Misreads galore and bad penalties. Michigan seems to have his clock sped up some but he?s not playing very well
-
Washington passing yds - 246
Michigan running yards - 304
Washington with 13 pts on 287 total yards so far. Being physical still wins

He has had zero time to do anything, much less progress through reads. This oline is abysmal

Not good from the line but he’s made some poor throws and reads.

Some of his bad throws are from him folding up in his windup

Getting pressure with 4 and not having to blitz can be a game changer

Penix overthrew 3 potential TDs. Game should've been closer when UW basically shut UM down in the 2nd and 3rd quarters.
It was still a game until that INT. Better than watching 65-7 which is what it looked like it was gonna be.

Washington gives programs like us hope though. They just have some great talent at key spots when bama, Georgia, Michigan, Ohio st have great talent everywhere

LOL ... you funny. 2018 was our shot. And we shot our wad there.
Not much hope for MSU especially now with conference expansion but Bama and UGA ain't going anywhere regardless. We can't load up enough on both lines to beat them. And we damn sure ain't gonna run the ball down their throats. And then there's TN & Mizzou (who I think has a shot as a non-blueblood school ... great situation there with Drinkwitz, their NIL, and their recruiting footprint). And now SEC adds Ok & TX (and Sark is a good coach).
I like UDub's coach tho. We'll see what he can do in the Big 10 now.

Will Rodgers is going to get the same treatment against some of the Big 10 defenses as he did against the SEC. Also, KB doesn't want to come out of hiding because we got more rushing yards than his precious Washington AR team did total yards

Ole Miss has a really good chance next season to play for a National Championship. All it takes is boosters, administrators and coaches to be all in and focussed on winning. We dont have that now, they do.

Playoffs sure, but I'm having a hard time seeing them passing Georgia, Bama, Ohio state with Howard, and Texas.

Penix did have a bad game, but I'm no pro scout and watching him he last night makes me think he isn't a Pro QB. Very good college QB but he panics in the pocket under pressure. Washington had a chance, but Michigan is the best team in the Ncaa.

He was throwing everything side-armed last night. Sometimes, he had to because of the rush. Other times, he didn't need to, but still did. I didn't see him doing that the other 3 times I watched him play. Or at least I didn't notice it.
