New Coach getting Close

Thread: New Coach getting Close

If the presser is Sunday or Monday, that takes a lot of guys off the board that would be coaching during championship wkend. That really only leaves a guy or two. Elko isn?t coaching that wkend. Who else?

Are Liberty, UNLV, Tulane, and Troy all playing in conference championships?

And I don?t buy we are planning a press conference but don?t have our guy yet. That makes no sense to me.

Is it the norm to plan a press conference with nothing to announce?

I guess it could mean planning how the presser is going to be, not necessarily when it's going to be. I have no idea though.

We don't prepare without our guy being found. It's a coaching search, can't say something can't happen at the 11th hour but we wouldn't be planning otherwise.

We could certainly do a lot worse than Fritz.

For some reason I like Sumrall the best of this group. He seems to be younger and with a higher potential in my eyes.

I've heard it doesn't hold a candle to weather in other places.

He just beat Tom Herman's FAU 24-8 this year in Miami

Beat Lincoln Riley in the Cotton Bowl last year, epic game

Beat Chris Klieman in Manhattan last year

Check out his 2016-2021 record record. What he's done these last two years has been with a generational QB.
