We were very careless with the ball early. NW has totally taken Jimmy Bell out of the game. I'm damn glad Hubbard decided to come to State.
Nice job getting back in the game after the terrible start but I hope we play better in the 2nd half.

He absolutely did. We looked gassed. Northwestern is well coached, very active on defense and more talented at a couple of positions. We need to pick up our intensity and hopefully our depth will wear them down enough.

We had nine turnovers at the six minute mark. Oof.

Great half by DJ. Only took 1 shot. Grabbed a bunch of boards. 0 turnovers. And great Defense. That's exactly how he needs to play.

I just don?t understand why DJ doesn?t go to the rack every time. He?s just so chickenshit at times!

The best way to defend him is to put a bigger guard on him. Length gives him problems. But he’s so quick, and he has great range. He uses screens well also. He’s extremely confident in his shot. He’s impressive.
