Lane knows how to connect with kids these days. He has taught himself to care about what they care about. Whether it is shoes, cars, etc. he knows how to get them interested in the program and then he is a heck of a recruiter so once he gets them interested he can close.

Everyone on this board missed on Arnett and preseason we all thought we'd be better than what we've fielded.
Barbay didn't live up to his end either. Show me your best players and I'll tailor the offense to them.
We were sold we'd be keeping elements of the Air Raid because that's the personnel we had.
Our defense was supposed to be pretty good with all the returning starters.
Instead we blew up the entire offense and didn't keep a single element of the Air Raid with the players we had.
Defense has been absolutely lost.
Arnett didn't seem to have the fire he had when coaching defense.
This is why we're in a coaching search and don't need to mess it up with the wrong hire.
