I would love nothing more that to eat my words next Friday but, they are a talented, well coached football team that does what they do very very well. We on the other hand are not. Having two players back from injury are not going to change that. They can and will score with impunity we will lose by 3 to four TD's and there will be very few dawgs left in the stadium at the end.

we can agree to disagree. 14 at home in a rivalry is huge to me. But whatever.

It is huge. Home field advantage in a rivalry game and we are still 2 TD dogs.

14 point Dogs at home is massive. Especially against a team that just got thumped 52-17 and is outside the top 10

Very possible that happens. Not saying otherwise. Just saying it isn’t a sure bet, because we have certainly played better with our normal qb and Woody. Just saying that Vegas thinks it’s going to be closer than emotional invested fans do, and they are usually more right than fans.

I’m not sure why you think home field advantage is any more in a rivalry game than it is in any other conference game. It’s about a 3 point swing in Vegas. It’s certainly not 14-21 points like someone else suggested. If they beat us by the point spread it will be a normal looking competitive SEC football game. If we lay down and get raped then so be it. I’m just ready for it to be over either way.

So 16/17 isn't huge? Factoring in the home field?? Whatever. There's a big ass difference in our teams. Check the records. It's not freaking close. But carry your maroon glasses all you want. Look at comparable opponents. But right. It's not huge.

Which one is more likely, the egg bowl comes down to the final drive of the game to decide it? OR it's over at half???? If you say the first one you're either lying or blind. Could it come to the final drive? Sure. Mathematically, the latter is way more likely.

We have played half the season with a backup quarterback. Before Will was injured, there was not a huge difference in our teams and if they don’t lay down there is a decent chance there won’t be a huge difference in a week. I don’t have maroon glasses on. I don’t expect to win. I simply am not stupid enough to think I know more than the people who make the spread that say our teams aren’t that far apart (particularly with us being at home), but obviously you and all your wisdom are….so go make you some money, big shot. Will beat the #19 team in the country not that long ago and Ole Miss has been beating mediocre teams by very little. Us keeping the game semi close isn’t some stretch.

Wasn't a huge difference? With Will, We lost to lsu by 35 at home. They won. We lost to bama by 25 at home. They lost to bama by 14 on the road....... just take your damn L and stop. You sound ignorant and I don't think you are. And I'm saying 14 pt dog at HOME is a LOT. But I'd like being dogs by 14 at home to your rival suit yourself.

We got handled by LSU. They beat LSU.

We got handled by Auburn. They beat Auburn.

We got handled by Bama, they were in the game for the most part.

We got destroyed by a&m. They beat them.

I am seeing 1-2 games with a tight margin similar to ours.

The way they played Arkansas, Auburn, and Vandy suggest that they have a huge propensity to play bad teams closer than they should. We will be healthy and a bad team, but less shitty than before. That’s what I’m referencing. They also played Tulane close with a backup quarterback. They are a good team but not awesome with the backup.

The one thing I will gurantee is our kids are going to have more energy and fire than they have had all year. they have started every practice with the Dawg Pound Rock and are doing it the right way.

Being the most excited to play makes a difference

Good. I placed a 3-figure bet on us -13.5 yesterday

Over at the half vs final drive of game are polar extremes.

I think it's more likely to be a one score game at some point in the second half than us be down by 21 at halftime and the game over.

They have not been good on the road. Hammered by uga while giving up 8.6 yards per carry and over 600 yards. Beat auburn by 7 (with will and woody and the right mindset i think that's a toss up for us). Lost to Alabama by 14 with 300 yards of offense, and that's back when Bama had no offense. Lucky tulane didn't have its QB or they probably lose. Was still a toss up in the 4th quarter.
Yea they are better than us, but it's not by some huge 45-14 margin if we are healthy AND play inspired.

Their defense is not good at all. Can we exploit it offensively? Probably not, but they aren't good on that side of the ball. At all.
