Yeah, he will land somewhere he will just have to decide what opportunity is the best, HC at a lower school or OC at a P5.

We need to temper expectations until Bert comes back to the thread to update us all on how Frost's house hunting is going in Starkville... at that point, we'll all know it's serious!

I'm assuming he is simply collecting a paycheck right now?
To be fair, it's Nebraska. Nobody is winning there.

Agreed...it's Tom Osborne...and...yeah, that's the list
-
Bert, will he live in Starksville or at Old Waverly?

Yeah. Tough gig these days. Amazing how bad that program has gotten.

Frank Solich was good and won .750 of his games. He just had the unfortunate job of following Osborne.

So many forget about the great Bo Pelini and his .713 win % at Nebraska
Such a great rep obliterated by his unwillingness to drop 8 against KJ Costello.
"After dealing with Ole Miss for over a year," he said, "I've learned to expect their leadership to do and say things that the leadership at other Division I schools would never consider doing and to justify their actions by reminding themselves that "We're Ole Miss.""

Didn?t Scott have some major alcohol problems during his stint at Nebraska?

I don't recall alcohol, although it could be the culprit, but the rumors of him being habitually late to practices, missing recruiting phone calls, it got to where the assistants went to the AD because it was such a mess.
-
Welp, guess we can scratch Frost off the list. So that's good.

Sounds familiar...
There are far better options (not that I even believe this. No offense Bert, I love you but your post is meant for clicks not reality).

Bert, you should sit this one out mate.
Still waiting for Sun Belt Billy to sign the documents.

Rhule only has 8 games at Nebraska (5-3 record). Dude has a 8 year $74M contract. He got smoked by Deon earlier this year, has not yet beaten any teams with a +500 record.
Scott Frost was 16-31 (W-L) at Nebraska, 5 seasons.

I really want to see Coach34 and KB hired as Co-Oc's. Have some NIL wagers all over the place on the outcome.

As we like to say in the South, bless your heart.

LOL... if Bert says it, don't believe it. True dat. But if it were true... Frost sucked at Nebraska but would suddenly be good again in the SEC?

He could buy Billy Nabors' Starkville house.
