My people at OG know everything about it. Said he thought he was getting that LSU offer. And if he didn't, he still wasn't coming here. Funny how folks claim we dropped a guy OM went all in on and LSU took. I guess we should fire the staff for incompetence? God knows, they suck at their jobs. Kid sat on our offer til he got better offers. Just like everybody we're recruiting. We can't even get kids to visit.

Nah, I'm right. Don't even care. We were in the kid this week too. We didn't drop him. He got offered bank from OM. And he got that LSU offer. You guys can keep pretending he didn't get those offers if you want. I do agree, he could end up at OM still. Just not this year.

I know he has a ton of connections to the bears, but is there any chance we can get Deion Smith, the former LSU WR who is now at Holmes, was a monster last night. I have an old friend that coaches at NWCC and he said he is one of the best Juco WR's he has seen come through MS juco. It makes sense since the kid played as a true freshman at LSU. Any insiders know anything?

He was a freshman All American at Maryland and his dad played in the NFL. At this point you better go get this guy who's playing well this season.

Except he's not played well and his Juco film isn't good. He will struggle in coverage. You wouldn't even notice him if you went to a Hinds game. But, he was great as a Freshman, so we need to tap into that. That's what we're hoping for.

Breaking News! with our latest 2 JUCO commits, we have moved up to #39 in the rankings only one spot behind that SEC East powerhouse, Vandy!** Seriously, our average per player average, .8804, is better than 13 teams ranked ahead of us, but we have only 17 commits. Big question, how many good, uncommitted players are still out there that this staff can get? Also, can we evaluate and afford a better portal class this time? Only about one of our last portal class has made a difference and I can't think who it is at this time.

Money talks, I keep hearing that we will have some money to spend. If we do, we will land some players.
My preference is to go the HS route, but we may not have the choice for next season.
