When we had safety help, it was such a bad angle that it ended up with zero help. One of the worse angles I think I've ever seen.
Morant could?ve stopped that play for a short gain but as you said just a horrible horrible angle!

The OC for SC was at Arkansas the last few years and they asked him about our D earlier in the week he said, "we played against their defense the last three years and we beat them every year except when KJ was out".
Everyone wants to be a beast...until its time to do what beasts do.

We run Arnett's defense and he is heavily involved in the gameplans. Blaming the DC for our D is just wrong but our fans do what they do. Just like when they blamed McCorvey- he was running exactly what Croom wanted. Same with Koenning- running exactly what Mullen wanted. Same with Jackie's OC's- running exactly what Jackie wanted.
Just like me today- I'm not running my offense- I'm running what our HC wants to run. It just has pieces of me in it

Doesn't matter. DC will take the fall for it at the end of the year if there's no improvement. Arnett will take the fall for it at end of next year if it's two years without improvement.

We should have brought in an experienced DC instead of promoting Dewhurst in hindsight.
I thought Brock could handle it but I was mistaken.
I have a feeling that the HC duties are distracting Arnett quite a bit and taking away from the defense some.

Alabama is really really bad on offense. Ole Miss is very mediocre on defense and just kept Milroe in the pocket and he couldn't do shit. Just eventually wore them down up front.

Problem is Bama will be playing with more confidence now. I'd be surprised if we can run or throw against them.

We will know in the very first drive of the game how it's going to go offensively. My prediction is exceptionally poorly.
