blitz and their guy beat ours one on one. not a huge deal, you give that up occasionally going all out on 3rd down, but whoever the safety is took the worst angle ive ever seen. should not see the field again tonight

That was a blown assignment.
When you are blitzing somebody has to take the area they normally occupy. Nobody stepped up to that.

I think our off season and fall conditioning is suspect. We weren't blazing fast last year but we weren't this slow either.

Okay so listening to the broadcast - CZA says - coaches he doesn't seem confident throwing the football. Well here's your answer. HE'S NEVER BEEN IN THIS KIND OF OFFENSE. IT'S BEEN ALL AIR RAID. GET HIM OUT.
