I'm not willing to accept that this LSU defense is some type of dominant force.

It's not and they have no depth the gameplan should have been keep them on the field as much as possible early and have it pay off. LSU gameplan was load up against the run and make Will beat them.

They had backups in that drive

He had the td dropped couple plays before. He did miss on what woulda been a big screen earlier. He and the whole offense has had a rough half, but nice drive to build on. His 4th down pass is the most I've been impressed with him in a while... that was all heart

Will made two plays in the first half. A nice pass to Harmon which was broken up and a last split second pass to Tulu for a critical first down. I guess he's fine now***
