Week 3 Prediction Thread-Maybe We Will Open Up The Playbook Edition

Well last week was perplexing to say the least. However, we won. I do not have as good of a feeling this week. I got LSU 27-13.

    Will Passing Attempts 25

    Marks Rushing Yds 78

Times I cuss out Barbay 97

LSU 28-22. We score a late TD and miss 2 point conversion.
Loading the kayak in the truck Saturday morning and having it sitting there ready to go. The game will decide what time I head to the river. Hopefully I sit home all day watching the end!!

    LSU 38, MSU 14.

Their strengths match up well with our weaknesses.

They've got a good pass rush, we've got bad pass protection and a statue for a QB.

They've got a mobile QB, we've struggled with mobile QBs

Add into the fact that we don't seem capable or willing to throw the ball more than 15 yards down the field, I think it's gonna be a long day for us

If the predictions that we lose by 14+ are true, that's a major red flag. LSU gave up 5.6 yards a carry to Grambling. Their first team defense gave up more.

    One score game.

I believe this as well but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Grambling scored 10 in the 1st Q on them- but we only gonna get 10 for the game?

Grambling ran for 5.6 YPC with mediocre passing, LSU has been a tightly contested game for the past decade, their top tacklers are all in their secondary, Daniels doesn?t throw downfield, our defensive staff has had a really good game plan each year they have been here against them, we do not play scared verse them, there is no way the offense we have seen is the offense we show them, we are a senior laden team, and BK doesn?t run a physical program and I believe we do.

That all being said, it is a four quarter game. I think within the final 5 minutes we start to pull away.

34 good guys 24 disgusting town.

    Edit:

    Rogers 256 passing 3 TDS

    Marks 117 yards rushing

    Zavion punt return.

Edit #2: we are at home and it’s an 11 AM kick. LSU hasn’t even finished their juice box and cinderella pancakes at that time.

My want(heart) and fear are in a tug of war. It will be one of these.

Here it is. I'm taking the first one.

What I want and my heart says

Marks 110 yards, Will 275 yards We utilize our passing ability and opens up run too. Great balance. Daniels still gets his but we keep ball away much of game with a better O and we win.
    MSU 31 LSU 27

    My fear

MSU 17 LSU 42 Daniels runs wild, we look inept on O and D fights hard but gets tired chasing Daniels all over the place.

WILLing it to happen. MSU 38, LSU 30.

Passing attack looks way better. We undoubtedly give up a frustrating 30+ yard TD because we let Daniels run free.

Well this same defensive staff spied Jett on him last year so maybe they will choose to not be dumbasses this year.
