BIG TIME.
Of course if you had told us that we could have Mike Leach I think 9/10 of our fans would have picked Leach over Napier.
It felt like Napier was a "realistic" option at the time.

Anyone else think that Stricklin will come after Arnett if we have a good year?
They always seem to come after our coaches.

Strickland won?t have a job for Arnett. He will be looking for one himself.

Ding ding ding. Can't imagine he gets to make another football hire.
-
If Dan was invested enough he could have won a natty with Anthony Richardson

The UF loyalists are blaming it on the former head coaches recruiting. Possibly some truth to that as well. I think it's a mixture of that and Napier not being who everyone thought he was.

He has zero ties to Arnett. Mullen was a no brainer for him at the time based on MULLEN?S ties to Florida. Their fans wouldn?t stand for him to go poach a no name coach from poor ol MSU to try and resuscitate their program again.

They were 9th and 12th nationally Mullen's last 2 years. They were 18th and 13th Billy's first 2 years. What was on the field last night is a dumpster fire of a coaching job and doesn't have a thing to do with Mullen's recruiting. They are delusional if they think this is about Mullen's recruiting.

I don't think Stricklin has any say in their next coach. I think his seat is hotter than Billy's. And I, for one, am very happy about that.

If Napier goes 6-6 or worse the Kiffin to Florida rumors will be swirling like a cat 5 hurricane. And it won't be for a raise either.

He has a $31M buyout, plus they are still paying Dan. Another reason the fans are turning on Stricklin faster than Billy.

Stricklin might get canned before Billy does.
-
I wish we played them week one. That would have been a good win to build up our team.

They are not beating Mizzou either.

Hell, it's just money.

We would have murdered them and then mutilated the corpses. Today Zach Arnett would be the coach de juer.

Yep. And Dan would have been better than 6-6 with Richardson last year. Napier won't last there.
