No I don't feel that way anymore. As I said at that time he had his work cut out for him which was true and to his credit he has gotten the recruits he needed to land.

    Credit where credit is due.

The biggest surprise to me in hindsight is how it appears that NIL has affected recruiting. Looks to me like Ole Miss has used a strategy of pay to commit early and build early momentum while we have better overall recruiters at the end of the day which seem to building better relationships with the players. Not sure if this is going to be the norm going forward or if it was just simply us having a mostly new staff whereas Ole Miss had a more intact staff and we just simply made up ground.

At the end of the day if we get the best players we can we will be in good shape going forward.

We aren't done. I feel like we've got a good shot at at least two or three more 4 star guys. Not saying we get them all, but a shot.

I know I've done my part on Daniel Hill the past 2 years but I don't think we get him at this time. How's Kahnen Daniels looking?

Do you think we might could get some of these kids that have early committed out of state? I can't help but think yesterday may have helped us tremendously in that area. I think 8 of the Top 20 in state are committed out of state and with a deep class like this it would be nice to get a few more to stay with us.

Yeah, we can't really celebrate until they're signed, but at least we're on the right side of things right now. If we're getting these commits because of the relationships that the coaches are building with the kids, I've got to think that we've got an excellent chance at keeping most of them.
There's someone in my head but its not me.

Then you should have been here with me telling others to be patient when they were being negative super early in the process. I'm just giving the same level of energy those folks had.

Need to flip Noreel White and Kahnen Daniels.

I know UF has Daniels and his family a pretty good set up, but that's one we just can't lose.

No inside info but think we get Daniels after the season. Napier over his head and we put the press on in late Nov

I think Daniels is still in play. Better than I thought. Decent with Beavers and White too. A couple of those have some things to sort through. I've got faith in Arnett and the staff to get some things done.

Chuck Oliver was talking about Daniels with a 24/7 national guy today. The 24/7 guy said it ain't over with Daniels. He's with Florida "for now."

Daniels maybe but that's probably about it until they hit the portal.

I agree. I also think he was misused offensively. We'll see what the new Coach from Petal does with him(though as of this typing, Daniel is our quarterback because we don't have anybody else, only 8 freaking seniors on the team).

I had heard he was playing QB. Boyles is one of the best coaches Ive ever coached against. He will figure it out. I imagine Hill will be running a lot of power/zone read

Similar usage as Anthony Alford at Petal. Ball in the best athletes hands.
