    Super Regional Updates

    Duke 5 UVA 4

    I like the Duke coach, I like any coach better than our Coach.

    Blue Devils had a true freshman pitcher starter.

    Outside of outlier-recruit JT Ginn in 2019. Feels like forever since an MSU freshman looked good on opponents better than SWAC teams. Not since Pilk for a starter (2016 Butch Kid) and Riley Self for any pitcher (2017 Henderson Kid).

    For the most part, it feels like Freshman pitchers at MSU have been dead assets for entire Bucket era. Outside of JT Ginn.

    Now tied 8-8. Crazy stat they just put up.....teams that were down 8-0 are 0-96 in Supers. Now 1-96. Incredible. Largest comeback in Super Regional history.

    Bama got screwed on a check swing call right before a HR by Wake with 2 strikes and 2 outs.

    Brutal. That guy swung at the pitch and the UMP was trying to throw out more than just that one asst coach. Staring into the dugout
