There is no other atmosphere in college baseball like Dudy Noble. It destroys other teams in games like this. Reminds me of the Yankees in Yankee stadium.

I mean I didn't hate the decision at the time. Hindsight is 20/20 but I probably still would've pulled Nixon. He's hit at least 2 batters in every other outing so who's to say he wouldn't have done the same if he went out there for another inning.

Our pitching isn't dominant and putting us in defensive battles anyways. (Though to their credit they've looked a lot better the last 5 SEC games.) The defense has been letting us down so we need to put up 10+ runs to feel comfortable. Lane isn't going to be conducive to that. The pressure provided by Larry and Mershon taking good ABs made going 2-3-4 in the lineup way more feasible.
