This is his second season at Wake. He was previously at Maryland and St. Johns. Listen to him speak about pitching though. Wake Forest has the best pitching staff in the country this year, and a lot of it is because of how he has implemented plans to develop pitchers.

We have some excellent talent that I really think someone could come in and turn this around quick with them. We just need a chief to do it… Foxhall ain’t it…

Not a bad resume. There isn't an unlimited number of candidates for our position but there are certainly plenty to choose from for a job of our status. Like this guy.

He?s my number one choice. We have the resources to get him, too.

Who does Cijntje want to be our pitching coach? I'm assuming he's not here just because of a special relationship with Foxhall?

Not that he gets a formal say in who we choose, but the guy has "MLB Superstar" written all over him, and it would be great for our program long-term to keep him here through 2025, and if he has a strong pro- or anti- feeling about a potential pitching coach, that's a factor to keep in mind.

This Wake Forest guy seems like a guy who could develop him pretty well.

That is not a factor to keep in mind. It would be idiotic to make a hire based on what a player thinks.

He would fit in well with someone like Justin Haire at Campbell I think.

For once KB if we throw the ball over 50 times we can beat Bama. This was the sport you were talking about all along, finally understand.
