Chad Ramey, MSU golfer, leading the Players
at -8. At least for the moment. He'll play tomorrow afternoon.

I saw that earlier. Really playing well.

Ramey just dumped two shots into the water, making a 7 on 17. Went from 2 up to a tie for 2 down. Then hit his tee shot into the woods on 18 and had to pitch out.

After the pitch out, he pitched to about 30 feet left of the pin - and made the par putt. He's not out of it yet. Now he has to play the front 9 (started on the back).

Hated seeing that happen. Hoping Chad (Fulton, MS) can come back from the fiasco on 17. Besides Ramey, I always root for two others from MS: Davis Riley, Hattiesburg, & Hayden Buckley, Tupelo.
Riley tied for 7th last week in the Arnold Palmer Tournament, but at +4 final today, he will not make the cut tomorrow after Rd 2 is completed, with current cut line at +1. Buckley has a chance as he stands at +3 thru 13 this afternoon when play was suspended.
But, I also root for most all of the guys from the southeast, and I include Tx in the SE.

#3 right now. He hanging in there. That quadruple bogie killed him yesterday. #17 is tough though

As much as I would love to see him win it, finishing 3rd would not be so bad considering payout would be $1,725,000.
